Job Designation: Research Associate
Pay Scale: 22,000/-P.M.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree or M.Sc. with three years research experience in Biochemistry/Plant Pathology / Biotechnology or a related field.
Job Duties: Study of the interaction of viral RNAi suppressor protein Hc-Pro and proteins involved in plants’ RNAi machinery with the overall goal to establish the host – viral interaction. Research will include Cloning, mutation work, protein and gene expression and bioinformatics analysis. Host-viral interaction studies include yeast two hybrid system, YFP and GFP vector based techniques.
Desirable: i) Publications in the desired field of research. ii) Experience in handling softwares involved in Life Sciences research.

Job Duties: Standardization of protocol for transmission of Tospo & Gemini viruses and screening of transgenic tomato lines for resistance.
Desirable: i) Two to three years experience in the relevant field with proven published record. ii) Experience in handling softwares involved in Life Sciences research
Age Limit: 35 years
Job Designation: Senior Research Fellow
Pay Scale: 14,000/-P.M.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Plant Pathology.
