An interview will be conducted on 10.08.2012 at 10.30 am at Regional Centre, CTCRI, Bhubaneswar for recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) purely on a temporary basis under DBT funded project “Differential plant volatile emission: Unfolding the new mechanism of host plant resistance against important insect pests of sweetpotato”. The project duration is 3 years or co-terminus with the conclusion of the project. The initial offer is for two years and will be extended for another year based on satisfactory performance.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 

Age: Max. Age 35 years (Age of relaxation 5 years for SC/ST & Woman and 3 years for OBC)

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000 pm +HRA for the first 2 years and Rs. 18,000 +HRA for 3rd year.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology/ Organic Chemistry and qualified in NET or First class M.Sc. (Agri) with specialization in Entomology/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Agricultural Chemistry. Working knowledge of chemical ecology is desirable.
