Applications are invited for purely temporary co-terminus of 1 (one) Senior Research Fellow to be filed under NAIP project entitled “Bio-prospecting of genes and allele mining for abiotic stress tolerance”. The essential qualifications and other details for the said post are as under: -

Senior Research Fellow 1(One)

Essential /Desirable Qualification Essential :- M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology or M. F. Sc. with specialization on Biotechnology

Experience: Age 6 months research experience in microbiology and molecular Biology Techniques

Remuneration : 16000/- per month + HRA 35 years for men and 40 years for women.(relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC  candidate)

Tenure of  the project : The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The tenure of the project is up to 31.03.2013

Place of  work : CIFRI, Headquarters at Barrackpore

Date of Walk-inInterview : 18.07.2012 at 11.00 hrs

How To Apply : Interested candidates fulfilling the above qualification are invited to appear for Walk-in-Interview on the above mentioned date and time at Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore, Kolkata – 700 120 alongwith the application, bio-data affixing a recent passport size color photograph and enclosing copies of certificates in support of the age, qualifications, experience and caste/category of SC/ST/OBC (where applicable) duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. Candidates are necessarily required to produces original certificate which will be returned to them. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
