Total Number of Vacancies: 72
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 45 yrs and 55 yrs for Principal post, between 35 yrs and 50 yrs for Post 2 and 3, between 21 yrs and 38 yrs for posts 4 and 5. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech/Master’s Degree in relevant discipline. For more details refer to the notification.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 5/- (Rs. 5.50/- for SC/ST candidates) in form of in form of Treasury Challan Head of Account ‘Non Tax Revenue-Other Non Tax Revenue-0051-PSC, 102-State Public Service Commission Application/Examination Fee Receipt of A.P.S.C’.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test and Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to obtain application format from Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature and submit it there itself it along with DD and Copies of all relevant certificates on or before 30-08-2012.
